  • Happy Friday the 13h, everybody!
  • I finally managed to see The World's End. To my surprise I only laughed once during this whole film, which was shocking because a) I loved the previous two movies b) I was fairly drunk while watching it. W.T.F joke was fantastic but the rest just felt horribly bland and lifeless.
  • News from Hannibal creator is that Mason Verger will be featured in season 2. Now I'm sure that since the series is a prequel he will look normal for now. But he is the guy played by Gary Oldman in Hannibal the movie. Remember that? That remains one of the most horrific  make up jobs I've seen in my life. To this day I can't find the courage to see the film again, he looks so scary. Seeing how we had fucking Colombian neck tie and Glasgow smile in season 1 I'm sure somewhere down the line they will show the charming cutting off his own face with glass moment. Though given how fucking repulsive Verger is, Hannibal is going to be a damn hero for convincing him to do that.
  • As I mentioned in last edition of  my weekly ramblings, Bryan Fuller tweeted this photo of Mads Mikkelsen wearing a floral crown. Tumblr exploded. I nearly did too, but turns out what really almost made me jump around is the tweet on the left posted few days later. I just hope someone splashed Mads' shirt with water. I mean the river is right there. They have him wearing like 15 items of clothing in each scene. He looks nice (and by nice I mean I don't even know my name or where I am when I watch the show cause I'm fucking tripping on how amazing he looks), but it's such a waste.
  • So my friend who is currently conveniently out of the country recommended me A Royal Affair. I watched it. I'm gonna punch him so hard when he comes back and then I'm gonna thank him. I should have known since Von Trier is the producer nothing not horrifying can come out of that. But I did enjoy those sex scenes. Goddamn.
  • A bit of wisdom Fassy has for Charlie Hunnam regarding his 50 Shades casting:
  • Oh, Fassy.
  • Here's the first look at the cast of American Horror Story: Coven:
  • And here are Angela Basset, Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates:
  • Tomorrow I'll be posting the annual Saturday TV Special about the upcoming season. Lots of good stuff was revealed in yesterday's EW article.
  • Liar Liar was on TV, so I watched it. Such a funny movie. STOP BREAKING THE LAW, ASSHOLE!!!
  • So they are makingAmerican Psycho sequel series. Apparently it's going to be set in modern times and Bateman will be in his fifties training new psycho as a protege. I'd be quick to dismiss it, but I'm curious who gets cast in that. Hopefully it won't be dead serious too. I love the humour in the book, so dark but so hilarious too - Earlier in the day I had sawed off her left arm, which is what finally killed her, and right now I pick it up, holding it by the bone that protrudes from where her hand used to be (I have no idea where it is now: the freezer? the closet?).
  • Let's take a moment and appreciate Alexander Skarsgard:
  • Jimmy Fallondid a hilarious Breaking Bad parody that featured a lot of cameos from the cast. I think someone should give Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston an award for existing. That pizza throw was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.
  • Here is more photographic proof that absolutely no one is actually working on Game of Thrones set:
  • Joking, joking of course. I think something is going on with Pedro Pascal and Lena Headey, they are always hugging and her instagram is filled with the pictures of them together. Also - how cute is Charles Dance hugging Conleth Hill? Nikolaj gotta be so happy to be mud-free and away from Belfast this season.
  • Sigur Ros follows Coldplay and Snow Patrol - they will guest star in the next season. My bet is they will play at the Purple Wedding, which is filming right now.
  • One of the world's most adorable couples, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, is expecting their first child. CONGRATULATIONS!
  • Parks and Recreation returns in 2 weeks with 1h long premiere....set in LONDON!! Ron Swanson in London! How the hell did that happen?
