How is Gwendoline Christie not mentioned in the main titles? How?I don't think she said a single word through that fight yet it was one of the better acted moments of the series. The look on her face, as if she was scolding Jaime for something as foolish as challenging her, growing irritated by his feeble attempts and anticipating his moves, still not dismissing him and seeing him as her worthy opponent. And all of that with her eyes. She does have astonishing eyes. It's a shame Game of Thrones doesn't have its own channel. They could do romantic comedy series based on adventures of Jaime and Brienne. Sure, there will be some rot and puss in near future, but the horror and screams aside it's all really cute.
Richard Armitage doesn't know what a meme is. ![]()

Dear Cutie Pie. Meme is something that makes Sati laugh. A LOT. Like this:![]()
We will get to see the scene between Olenna and Tywin soon! OMG! She will even snapTywin's quill! Are we calling non-book readers Unsullied now? Alright.Apparently there are some people who are actually...defending Theon? While that's astonishing what's disgusting are all the Jaime vs Theon threads. Jaime has a code, a twisted one, but he has one. Theon is a treacherous little weasel. Add to that Jaime is fun to watch, while whenever I see Theon I want to punch him in the face. That said, Alfie Alen is doing tremendous job with this character.Nikolaj Coster Waldau was a guest on Conan this week. Nobody bothered to gif the appearance (seriously, people? / though as I'm publishing this the gifs are in rendering my 15 minutes in photoshop pointless) and seeing how I made 20 gifs this week already and I'm exhausted...let me just use words and gif only the funniest part. He told the story about how on AFI gala he wanted to pee really bad, so he went to the bathroom and everything was occupied. There he saw that one stall wasn't locked so he barged in and bumped into someone who was there...: ![]()
Also, give this man an Emmy. Not only is he awesome, but apparently because of Jaime's prisoner status this season they hosed him down with mud every day. The man had mud in his ass crack. Just...give him an Emmy. Playing around with Photoshop is awesome. But it's a bit less awesome when you are done making gif for Somewhere review and you realize, shit, that was supposed to be a collage. So you all forgive me if I break the tradition of 4-image opening graphics for this one.Following Ruth's recommendation I saw North and South this week:![]()
I've also been watching Spooks 8:![]()

I have no idea how I'm still alive. That scene where he carried her in his arms? Oh my God. It's like I left my usual batshit mental state and had it replaced temporarily with even dirtier, more disturbing one. When I saw torture scenes in Spooks I actually yelled STOP HURTING HIM!! This is like Syriana all over again. Why is The Big Bang Theory not on every week? Do they realize how annoying those breaks are? There will be two-week long gap between Ep 8 and 9 of Game of Thrones and I'm pretty sure the emotional distress it will cause is good grounds to sue.We did get new Modern Family and Parks and Rec this week, both quite funny. Sick Ron and Ron attempting to eat banana were amazing. Also - I love Donna. ![]()
So as you probably guessed, this week I saw Somewhere. I remember only seeing a bit of it once. At first I was confused, because for the first four minutes the same shit kept happening. I was sure my copy was flawed or something. The movie was very slow, but I wasn't bored. I really liked the atmosphere and the music.I really liked The Bling Ring trailer, but I can't say the same for the uninspired poster. The one that caught my eye though is the poster for Violet & Daisy, starring Alexis Bledel and Saoirse Ronan as two teenage assassins. Sounds really cool.
I'm very excited about Arrested Development coming back soon. While I could easily mention funnier shows, this one is definitely the smartest comedy series I've seen. I love Will Arnett's character and "I made a huge mistake". There are 9 new posters promoting the shows, here are my three favorite ones:
The only way I'm seeing The Lone Ranger is if someone gets me the threesome with Richard and Idris/Nikolaj/Fassy/Lee (whoever is available) but it's kinda cool that Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter are both in it. What's not cool are the character posters. I'd do better than that in 5 minutes.
Backed by popular demand here are photos of Gustav occupying my bed. You'll notice that he had the audacity of bringing his toy with him.
Gustav had a run-in with two Shih Tzus this week. One started to growl at him and then the other one...jumped at him to protect Gustav! That was so adorable.Starting tomorrow me and Gustav will be alone in the house as my mother is going to my cousin's wedding. I would go with her but 1) Someone has to stay with Gustav 2) I have nothing dressy to wear and the thought of buying second fancy dress this week (I have to go to this ball thing 2 weeks from now, what a stupid waste of money) is giving me a stomachache and there's reason 3:
I won't get anything done this weekend. I can do stuff only when he is sleeping. Remember that Friends episode when the triplets were sleeping and Giovanni Ribsi was horrified because they would wake up soon? This will be my weekend.links:- Courtney shares two deleted scenes from Alien
