  • First of all, happy 50th birthday to Boo Kangaroo!
  • I'm finally up to date with the most recent episode of American Horror Story: Apocalypse and this season is so much fun! They are doing the crossover thing so well and it's awesome seeing the witches back particularly the incredibly entertaining Emma Roberts as Madison.
  • The series has always been very girl power, men suck! but this season they really went for it and I can't say I'm not enjoying it:
  • At that rate I wonder if the series even have any straight male fans. I laughed so hard where they straight up said men cannot ever rule because testosterone blocks their magic.
  • Next week we are returning to Murder House and Jessica Lange is coming back! This is so exciting, the show is simply not the same without her.
  • I've also been rewatching Coven, since it's my favorite season. Damn, why isn't Angela Bassett in the newest one?!
  • All of this is gross. Everyone rejoicing and saying it was just 'bad jokes'? You are publicly defending a degenerate, congratulations.
  • Funny thing - Gunn, a creep, was trying to out Leto as creep. Looks like Leto is never reprising his role as The Joker again.
  • With MCU cast backing Gunn and with WB/DC division hiring him there is only one thing left for me to do.
  • Root for Sony Universe of Whatever the Fuck they are calling it.
  • I enjoyed Venom so damn much. Seeing Hardy in a lighter movie was fantastic and the film is practically a rom com with him and the symbiote. Don't trust the ridiculous reviews, go see it, turn off your brain and have a great time with Tom shrieking like a little girl.
  • Morbius film starts shooting in the spring so let's brace ourselves for new tales of horror about "method" acting.
  • Look at that. It's all shit and piss over there. Seriously, Sony just stop doing so much cocaine and you can win this thing.
  • This week wasn't off to a great start with these news about Gunn but then there was this.
  • We have Louis C.K. back doing stand up, we have Gunn earning millions again, we have Spacey somewhere in a spa, probably, Singer's new movie is actually getting Oscar buzz and Tarantino is still making that movie. The severity of these people's actions and words varies greatly but the point is there is no consequences to them contributing to the toxic and horrific state of the world.
  • As for people saying maybe Robbie will have objections to work with Gunn - please look at these photos and tell me if this looks like the kind of person who would?
  • Thankfully, there's still some people worth rooting for in Hollywood so here is great photo of Gaga from her Elle photoshoot:
  • So last week I shared this hilarious video of Bradley Cooper being super serious when the interviewer sang a song for him. It looks like Bradley is super serious on a walk with his kid and a girlfriend too. Does he only light up when he is doing talk shows?
  • But at least the movie is making money:
  • A Star is Born and Venom are both killing it at the US box office and First Man and El Royale are probably going to flop hard this week. First Man is actually such a non-event, at this point I doubt if it even gets a lot of Oscar nominations. I think the entire focus in Award season is gonna be about A Star is Born and Vice. Hopefully, because the script for the latter is absolutely outstanding.
  • Speaking of the buzz being dead, Suspiria opens in few weeks and there's seems to be very little marketing for it. Tilda Swinton finally confirmed that she is in fact playing the doctor but it's like who cares at this point. That whole masquerade  is in no way justified in the script, honestly, it's just a gimmick.
  • New trailer for Glass. This doesn't look promising to me other than acting minus Willis who really looks like he just cannot be bothered to try anymore. Sarah Paulson and Anya Taylor-Joy reportedly don't have much to do there which is a major disappointment.
  • Pet Semetary remake trailer. This is gonna be basic as hell, trust me. The cat will easily steal the show. Also there is a really silly change from the novel which they wisely hid in the trailer because the book fans would probably freak out about it.
  • They added new actors to The Witcher cast and it's a bunch of no names. Seriously, who are those people? It looks like they blew most their budget on hiring Cavill and cannot afford relatively known actors. Also the fact that his leading lady looks so young, given the various rumors about this guy, is seriously disturbing. Just a big NOPE from me about all of this.
  • What on Earth are they paying 15 mil this woman for?! So many talented actresses out there who actually try and this mess is getting all that money. Give that money to Danai Gurira and give us Okoye solo, dammit.
  • Trailer for The Best of Enemies with Sam Rockwell playing a sympathetic racist again. Between this and him playing Bush the man really has no fear in what kind of roles he takes and what people may think and that's amazing.
  • Venom and Coven were really the only things I saw this week. I had a lot of work but thankfully Apostle dropped on Netflix and you guys voted in my poll so I'll see all of that during the weekend. I don't know who I was kidding with that "tonight" there.
  • New promo picture from Aquaman. Looks like Mera has a new outfit!
  • I just can't with his pose here, what is going on? Whatever it is - absolutely adorable.
  • And finally here is Jason and Mark Ruffalohaving fun during NYCC and epic picture of Jason geeking out about his toy:
  • Jordan reviews First Reformed
  • Geekteller writes about Bad Times ad the El Royale
  • Mario reviews Searching
  • Keith writes about Venom
  • Katy, Allie and Brittani review A Star is Born
  • Sonia reviews Mandy
