Jonah Hill was awesome hostingSNL last Saturday and Candice Bergen was hilarious in the opening bit. The pug thing was adorable but the funniest gag was Jonah reprising his role as a spoiled kid in the restaurant. I almost died when he started singing "I shot the sheriff".
New trailer for season 3 of True Detective. This looks really good!
Ryan Reynolds keeps doing this feud thing with Hugh Jackman. Jackman's response was priceless.
So the movie directed by Singer is at top of box office in USA (AMPAS is gross too). People paid money to see the film he directed. Studio sees the revenue. It's enough to hire him again. It doesn't matter if someone wants to see a movie about Queen or likes an actor in the cast and that is their very reasoning to go pay for it. In the end the audiences are putting the money in his pocket.
They are rebootingShrek now. Why? Cannot kids just watch the existing movies? Do we really need to start over every 15-20 years?
At least Paddington 3is happening so that's good news.
Sylvia Hoeks from Blade Runner 2048 and that new Lisbeth Salander movie shaved her head and she looks insanely fierce:
I don't even watch The Walking Dead but what the fuck. I knew they were going to pull off some dirty trick but what they actually did was beyond my wildest assumptions.
Idris Elbais this year's Sexiest Man Alive. Every year Jason walks the Earth and isn't crowned I die a little inside but at least this is a huge step up from the disastrous choice last year.
I saw The A Team and I swear Bradley Cooper has been in some of the dumbest movies ever made.
I also saw the new Halloween and it was pretty good. It's always nice to see Judy Greer and it was awesome to witness all those women kicking so much ass.
I watchedCarlito's Way. Viggo is there in one scene and yet he manages to completely steal the show. He is so amazing with accents!
Here's my livetweet of RoTK. I am so proud of this tweet.
Here's new clip from Green Book. It's surreal to hear Aragorn say such stuff.
Viggo and Mahershala received best ensemble award at Hollywood Film Awards last weekend. I am saying they did because they were the only ones from ensemble there which was kinda funny.
Here are two amazing pieces about him in NYT and LATimes. The one in NYT - "A waitress walks past him twice, staring unapologetically."- is really on point.
I think he can actually charm the members better than Cooper. He is promoting this film a lot. If he does SNL I will actually stop living.
So I had all the above written yesterday and then today this happened.
I'll get to dragging him for this in a bit but American audiences just put the movie directed by a pedophile on top of box office. Some people shamelessly stan the lead actor of it who is defending the director and they wanna be outraged over this? They don't get to do that. They LOST their right to be outraged over anything.
But regardless of the word he used he also said a bunch of nonsense, of course those slurs are still used. And why is Viggo talking about something that a white person shouldn't be talking about precisely because they don't know what they are talking about?
I THINK Viggo was saying it is used less often comparing to the times the movie is set in but good God he worded it so bad.
This is just so weird. Viggo using offensive language and saying something ignorant is as shocking as if Hanks punched a person. He is a progressive, lovely and extraordinarily kind man.
I really think Cooper is somewhere in Louisiana, in voodoo priest's basement, slaughtering goats and reciting incantations to ensure his win. He is probably levitating over the floor, covered in blood or something.
To quote reddit - I swear if the rightful king of Gondor is the next celeb to be burned at the stake for something like this I’m joining Sauron and the orcs.
The fuck is happening, every autumn my fav says dumb or horrific shit. You are grown ass men, shut your beautiful mouths when you feel word diarrhea coming.
Promo video from Aquaman highlighting the similarities between Atlanna and Arthur.
First screening will be in Brasil. What the fuck? Jason's biggest fangirl lives in Poland!
And here are amazing character posters!:
First screening was held this week and the reactions are positive!
And finally - Pine Tree is available for viewing on Netflix starting today! Pine is tired of all the comments but let's face it there are comments because male full frontal nudity is very rare in movies. So fix that problem, please.
Although to be fair after this nothing will ever be as delighful
So happy how many people in our blogopshere - Brittani, Dell, Sonia and Dan - included In the Loop in their Thursday Picks, which someone and by someone I mean Mario still hasn't seen. Though Sonia needs to be spanked for her opinion there!
Alex bravely puts himself through and reviews Netflix movies
