I think Ridley and Cameron are losing touch with reality. One is shoving increasingly obvious sexual fantasies about Fassbender in our faces and the other thinks people wanna see more Terminator and Avatar films.
It's like they are losing their minds and no one says "enough" to them.
I mean, it's exactly the same with me, this website and my twitter but at least we get some good comedy and hawt Keanu gifs out of it.
I haven't watched that Game of Thrones documentary yet, but it looks like a laugh riot. This is the cast's reaction to reading the scripts:
Emilia is fucking hilarious. I'm so glad she is gonna be in Paul Feig's next movie.
Speaking of hilarious you NEED TO read this incredible interviewTimothy Olyphant gave for Rolling Stone. The part about his house killed me.
And once more - DEADWOOD MOVIE PREMIERES TOMORROW! I've waited years for this! It feels incredible that it's finally here.
So Booksmart, which got excellent reviews and raves from movie buffs, flopped at the box office and there's a gigantic pity party going on for it on twitter.
First of all, this tweet is correct. Second of all, the person who who was handling the distribution is to be blamed for this - this landed on French Netflix on the day of US release. Even if it had good marketing - which it didn't - it wouldn’t stand a chance. They released a comedy flick around the blockbusters and that flick landed on the internet immediately. How the hell was it supposed to make money?
Instead of pitying a movie that has a bunch of dumb people in marketing and distribution and a bunch of people who have their jobs in some part due to nepotism, we should save our energy on something much more important:
Chris Hemsworth is doing everything he can to promote MiB (1,2). It's like waiting for car crash to happen. On the other hand I was also sure Aladdin would flop and....here we are.
Rambo: Last Bloodtrailer which is a rip-off of Logan trailer but at least it's a decent promo as opposed to first trailer for The Kitchen which is a whole bunch of meh.
So in case you guys didn't know about it, which is a possibility considering what a terrible marketing the series has, there is What We do in the Shadows TV series. It's exactly the same format as the movie, but with different vampires. One of them is played by Matt Berry from The IT Crowd and unsurprisingly he is the funniest part of that series. After I binged the whole thing on Saturday I just had to see the original movie again and I dare say the series is even funnier. I then rewatched the series again this week because each episode is quite short and I need a break from this, at least for 20 minutes every day. Also there are insane cameos in one of the episodes, including the cast of the original movie. And Beanie Feldstein, who is in - apparently - the most mishandled movie of all time Booksmart, is also here and she is great.
The Perfection on Netflix is one of their best releases so far, if you like horror you should definitely watch it! Here's my post about it.
Also here's my review of John Wick 3 because only Brittani left a comment so far - and she didn't even see the movie. You guys serious? I'm all over your comment sections like a diarrhea, come on.
I also watched Greta. Oh God, I really need to find a man and get married, otherwise I am going to hoard purses and stalk dumbass youths, aren't I. The film was decent but Isabelle Huppert's great performance was several levels of crazy higher than the movie surrounding her. Moretz was actually quite decent in it and it was lovely to finally see Maika Monroe in a good movie, it's been a while.
So I started my livetweet of The Lake House and the internet died JUST as I was about to tweet the hottest thing that happens in this movie which is Keanu pouring soup for himself and saying "come to papa" (at which point I legit screamed). And it died. Whole city had no internet for several hours.
I'm not saying it was my doing but I'm not *not* saying that.
Anyways, I finished the movie - and the livetweet - the next day. Because I am committed to bringing myself and all of you following my twitter joy.
*applause for me, yes?*
Then I rewatched Constantine. That was a pretty awesome livetweet I did, gifs and everything. Yes, I am very proud of my livetweets.
I'll say it again - my clothes would be GONE in SECONDS.
I like that she looks a bit disappointed by his answer. These two had such a good chemistry it's madness, pure madness they didn't even kiss!
You guys:
WHY IS HE SO ADORABLE?!
I can't stop laughing at Jimmy's "it's going to be much worse" and Keanu clearly understanding the word "cock" but being too shy to say it and going with "dog".
I've been going absolutely batshit on Twitter, even more so than usual (1,2,3,4,5).
You know what I'm gonna do on my vacation in July? Hopefully John Wick 3 is gonna be out for home viewing by then and I'm just gonna sit down and watch all 3 in the row.
I'm not gonna even gonna livetweet, I'll just moan for 6 h.
And then I'm gonna lay down in the bathtub filled with ice, if I'm actually still alive after that.
Oh it will be glorious.
Why can I only do that during vacay? Because it's been 10 days since I saw Chapter 3 and i STILL can't walk right.
I actually did rewatch John Wick on Tuesday. I cannot stress how little I've done on Wednesday.
But before my epic rewatch we have this weekend to look forward to and I have so many Keanu movies to choose from. Drop a suggestion what do you want me to livetweet in the comment section.
