  • SPECTACULAR first poster for Wonder Woman 1984.
  • My God, you can just feel the fierceness in that image.
  • It is now officially less than a year of wait for the movie! It's still so far away but at least it's now less than 12 whole months.
  • Very cool marketing for Midsommar. And here's part of the conversation between Ari Aster and Jordan Peele, who just watched the movie and really loved it.
  • Trailer for Ad Astra. This looks very meh. I am sure they are making the movie look action packed while it isn't and the funny thing is that all those action/sci-fi bits in the trailer don't even look impressive.
  • New poster for Stranger Things season 3.
  • Cooperis single again and twitter is already planning his and Gaga's wedding.
  • Trailer for Ford V FerrariBale and Damon are in it, but the real draws are the fact Jon Bernthal is there too and that it is James Mangold's movie, as in the man who gave us Logan.
  • Well, it looks like I'm never visiting you guys.
  • Character posters for The Lion King.
  • What the fuck, man, what the fuck?! I mean I get that it's supposed to be realistic, but the kids are going to be traumatized.
  • Timon looks fabulous, though.
  • Here's new TV spot. Timon and Pumbaa do sound hilarious and I'm certain they will steal the show. That is if the kids are still in the cinema as opposed to, you know, having run away at Pumbaa's first appearance.
  • Chris and Tessa looking amazing during MiB promo tour.
  • Chris is out there saying he is taking a break. Considering he already has two projects lined up and there is no way he is not returning to MCU him saying he is taking a break is like me saying I'm not drinking anymore.
  • During weekdays.
  • Booksmart was as I expected nothing special in spite of everyone raving about it. I'm not too old to like it more or find it relatable because I watched Superbad this week and I still laughed my ass off. Also between this and Eight Grade I think I know what the Apocalypse will be - people will literally become so dumb their heads will start falling off. Young people were always spoiled and acting entitled, but now that they have social media and ubers they are out of control. It was a nice story and it was well directed but it didn't even make laugh once, it was at best mildly amusing. The actors did well and Billie Lourd was a joy to watch, but still, her character is nowhere near the level of iconic McLovin'. The girls playing the mean one and the one who liked sucking dicks (I don't even remember the names, that should tell you how little this movie interested me) were really good. Also - Jesus, is this the music the kids listen to this day? Other than Alanis Morissette's songwhich somehow miraculously ended up on the soundtrack, it was just noise. And what the fuck is it with those coming of age female flicks featuring scenes underwater in the pool? Enough with that already.
  • Then I saw We Have Always Live in the Castle and Daddario's presence in the cast should have tipped me off it will not be good. It was so goddamn boring. The performances were good but the whole movie surrounding them was such a mess.
  • I rewatched Captain Marvel and it's still such a joy. The funny moments are still so amusing and the scene where she unlocks her whole power is wonderful.
  • Deadwood was incredible. What a way to honor the people behind it and the fans. It was so consistent in tone with the series and felt like a natural continuation of the story. Surprisingly, it wasn't Ian McShane who was the best in the show (though his comments about pissing himself had me in stitches), but Timothy Olyphant, who stole everyone's thunder with his incredible performance. I loved how Bullock wasn't a boy scout anymore. He was genuinely fed up with Hearst enough to go about the things the unlawful way...to a point. And that scene where he shot the guy who was threatening the kid was INSANE. I also loved how the women yet again got such amazing moments - Jane saving Bullock, Alma outbidding Hearst and of course Trixie who refused to stay quiet. There were so many moments that made me cry and the ending was absolutely perfect. It probably has the greatest final line of any series out there.
  • I haven't seen the whole thing yet but there's terrific SAG-Aftra conversation with Ian McShane, he even goes "Hellboy, that never came out".
  • So I watchedAlways be my Maybe for my boo boo (I still don't have a boo name for him, it will come to me eventually). The film was really terrible and he was in it only for 13 minutes but he was AMAZING. His entrance was in slow motion and set to Awolnation's Sail. Oh God. Art:
  • My ovaries still aren't all right after this.
  • This is already iconic and people are adding different songs to this moment and of course our dear Katy and Getter did their parts.
  • Also - we were represented, ladies!:
  • Then I rewatched John Wick 2 and this time I livetweeted it
  • I think watching those movies is my equivalent of porn addiction.
  • And then I sawSiberia which had so many sex scenes with him in it I literally lost track.
  • I am convinced the only reason I am still alive after watching that is because God wouldn't let me die on the same day I watched Deadwood movie.
  • Seriously, though why does he make films like that? At least Eli Roth, the director of Knock Knock, is well known so I can see the appeal of that but THIS? I swear some of the scenes in that movie had set ups you would find in porn. He has money, why does he take roles in such stuff? Does he have some sort of kink where he wants to do sex scenes in shitty movies and for people to watch them on big screens across the world?
  • Because THAT would make him even hotter.
  • I rewatched Speed which I haven't seen in 15 years or something. That was such an enjoyable movie. The funniest part was Keanu announcing every single shitty thing that just happened to those distraught passengers - "There's a bomb on the bus!", "There's a gap in the freeway!", "We are leaking gas!" and my favorite - when he straight up chuckled like a maniac and told Sandy they were all going to die.
  • Yesterday I livetweetedThe Devil's Advocate. This movie is just so much fun!
  • *fangirlnoisesintensify*
  • Keanu may be in The Eternals. If he is, I must travel there somehow and save him from Angelina. He is like a puppy and she is like a rabid tiger.
  • Or he is the donkey and she is the dragon.
  • Or he is me and she is my neighbor's chihuahua that chased me one time.
  • IT'S NOT GOOD.
  • Oh sweet God do I have another gem for you.
  • I already spread it on twitter but here it goes:
  • Was it really necessary for him to repeat the words "soaking wet" and nod like that? WAS IT?!
  • "and I fight and I fight and I fight but I can only fight so much...and then I GIVE UP!"
  • "NOT FOR ME, JIMMY".
  • Oh, Jesus.
  • I have so many interviews with him to watch and I literally watch those in parts because it's too much. I enjoy watching interviews with him more than his movies because he is so SWEET.
  • *giggling excitedly*
  • But now, as I promised, time for The Matrix livetweets. Tonight I livetweet the first one, tomorrow the second one (I bet it will be the best livetweet) and Sunday is when I am gonna depress all of you by reminding you just how shit Revolutions is.
