  • (in case you missed it and you might have cause there are 4 comments there (shade!) I wrote new Visual Parallels post).
  • What We Do in the Shadows premiered with 2 new episodes and they were hilarious, especially the one with ghosts. It's ectoplasm!
  • Finally - we have first promo material from Dune! (1,2)
  • You'd think I'll be happy these are out right?
  • Well, not really. This is definitely not getting released in December. First of all, who knows if cinemas will be even opened then. And even if they are, Top Gun 2 moved to Christmas release. WB positioning hard sci-fi against new Tom Cruise film is too dumb even for them.
  • So now I'll have to wait even longer.
  • Fuck.
  • Oscar is at his daddiest there. Jesus, I nearly passed out just from seeing this photo. I'm disappointed in Ferguson's look, though. She looks like in most of her other roles, they could do a bit more with the hair and the costume.
  • I cannot believe WB let Jason shave that beard. That's just horrible business decision. When he has one, it's just easy money, women flock to see this. Thank God Lisa forbade him from ever shaving again.
  • Jason was on Ellen's show (1,2) this week via video link and they also uploaded the video of that one time he surprised that couple.
  • Caponetrailer, it lands on VOD next month. How the hell did Trank get all those amazing actors?! This movie looks cheap as hell but I have no doubt that Hardy will make it fun.
  • New Wonder Woman 1984 stills (1,2). I love Wiig's clothes! And look at Pedro all tied up....:)
  • Something cheerful - reactions recorded during opening night of Avengers: Endgame (1,2,3).
  • Freaking Hollywood is remakingThe Others. Why is this happening? Do they really think they can do better?
  • Trailer for Extraction. The story looks boring but it's not like anyone is going to watch this one for the plot.
  • Here's how Wonder Woman 1984 team celebrated Pedro Pascal's birthday.
  • Westworld had a decent 4th episode but mostly because Ed Harris finally showed up. I haven't finished the new episode yet, this season is really not that good.
  • New season of Halley Quinn isn't quite on the level of last one, but we're just two episodes in.
  • I've been trying to get into Better Call Saul but so far I just can't. Breaking Bad was gripping from one of the very first episodes and there was this continued sense of danger, so far there's not much of that in the spin-off and there's just too much realistic legal shit for me to enjoy it. I'm still on season 1. I will eventually catch up, but so far the claims that this is better than Breaking Bad seem really ridiculous to me.
  • I am also not doing that well with The West Wing, I reached season 4 which I think is widely considered to be the last great season. The season 2 finale with Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms over the ending scene was probably the high point of the show.
  • What I easily binged, though, wasTiger King. Hell, not just that, I just finished rewatching it! Sweet God, where did they find these people?! This could easily be twice as long with how much footage they gathered. It was so gripping and while there were parts of it that were hard to watch I also laughed so damn hard at so many points of the show. Nick Dunne was less terrified of Amy Dunne than Carole Baskin's current husband is of her.
  • LB links to posts about things I watched since last RF - Mississippi Grind, The Favourite, Sherlock Holmes, Snatch, The Turning, Gretel & Hansen, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn part 1, Breaking Dawn part 2, The Other Lamb, Blow the Man Down, Swallow, We Summon the Darkness, Black Christmas, The Boy, The Boy 2, Knives Out, Elizabeth, Gwen, Seberg, Wild Things, and that Harry Styles documentary because I'm such a slut.
  • Look, those Twilight movies may be silly but come on, the soundtracks are great and Stewart and Pattinson were doing the best they could, given what script they were working with. Just compare these to Fifty Shades or original films Netflix is making for our money.
  • Swallow was the best of the bunch and will get a separate post.
  • Also thanks to Katy I did watch this and then fell into a hole. Katy is also the reason why I rewatched Twilight movies. Damn it, woman!
  • 2 days ago I *might* have gone completely insane and tweeted a lot. A lot
  • I'm not even sorry.
  • I am seriously going to set that as setting on tinder lol, I figured 26-36 years is the range I'll go for. You know, once this hell on Earth passes.
  • Also this link above is my all time fav SNL performance. The song is amazing but the way he sang it there made it even more amazing. My God I must have watched it at least 50 times.
  • Whoever he smiled at there definitely passed out.
  • I blame my dreams and Katy for sitting here and watching stuff like this.
  • Good God, I could just eat him up
  • Also can we just talk about how Fallon has games with puppies and whisper challenge and Corden has shit like this - 1,2? Again - how did no one abduct him on that street?! And the swallow puns, I really need to lie down.
